During five days from November 7 through 11, 2004, "PACK EXPO" which is the largest exhibition of packaging devices and products, was held at the Macomic Place in Chicago, U.S.A..

The PACK EXPO which is the largest exhibition in north America for packaging devices as well as packaging materials, started first in 1956 and been held by yearly for almost half a century.

We, Eisai Machinery Co., Ltd. (EMC) presented our new model PLIM (Pre Lyophilize Inspection Machine) at such an exhibition in abundance with internationalism with much visitors from all over the world.

In accordance with the needs at customers' production sites, the PLIM detects foreign particles in the solution right after the filling process into the half capped vials. To achieve even higher quality assurance, combination of a cosmetic inspection machine by Eisai after lyophilization can be used. Development concepts of PLIM were high accuracy, high performance, and low cost. Through unconventional thinking, not only high accuracy and performance, but the goal of low cost was also achieved.
